


Apple Smoothie
Yield: 2 servings
2 cups apple sauce
1 cup apple cider
1 cup orange juice
2 tbsp. Vermont maple syrup
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
-Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
-Pour into glasses and serve.

Golden Girl Smoothie Yield: 2 servings 3/4 cup saternes or other sweet dessert wine 1 3/4 cups diced fresh pears, frozen 1/2 cup diced fresh apricots, frozen 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice -Place all ingredients in a blender. -Blend until smooth.Cranberry Tea 2 family-sized tea bags 1 tsp. whole cloves 2 cinnamon sticks (2.5 inch) 1 qt. boiling water 2 cup sugar 2 qt. water 2 cup cranberry juice cocktail 1 cup orange juice 1/4 cup lemon juice Combine first three ingredients in a 1-qt container. Add boiling water, cover and steep 5 minutes. Pour mixture through wire-mesh strainer, discarding tea bags and spices. Stir in sugar and remaining ingredients. Serve over ice.
Banana Punch 3 cups sugar 6 cups water 46 oz. pineapple juice 1 (6-oz.) frozen orange juice 5 ripe bananas 3 (28-oz.) bottled ginger ale -Dissolve sugar in 2 cups boiling water. -Add 4 cups cold water & juices. -Crush bananas. -Add to juice mixture. -Freeze mixture in plastic containers. -When ready to use, thaw enough to remove from containers easily. -Place punch in bowl. -Add ginger ale. -Mix & serve.
